Tony Caterina: Lifelong Edmontonian, Proven Leader

Tony is a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, business owner, and employer who has called Edmonton home since a young child. As a four-term, 14-year city councillor, Tony served Ward 7 with hard work, integrity, focusing on fiscal responsibility and community safety.

Tony's leadership roles include:

• Vice-President, Alberta Municipalities Association
• Two-term member, Edmonton Police Commission
• Chair, City Manager and City Auditor Review Committee
• Chair, Community Standards and Licensing Committee
• Chair, Infrastructure and Energy Committee, Alberta Municipalities Association
• Six-year board member, Northlands 

Tony’s commitment to Edmonton extends far beyond council. A longtime advocate, volunteer and supporter of charities and citizen driven community, Tony is also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. His community service has earned him prestigious honours, including:

• Builder Award, Yellowhead Highway Association
• Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal
• Honorary Testimonial, Royal Canadian Humane Association, for courageous efforts in extinguishing a fire in City Hall’s councillors’ wing 

Tony is the only fiscally conservative candidate for mayor in 2025. Tony pledges to prioritize core services, rebuild financial stability, and make Edmonton stronger and safer for all residents. With decades of experience and a track record of getting results, Tony is ready to lead Edmonton into the second half of this decade.
